Our first Adopt a Highway of the year was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out to volunteer, with your help we were able to rid our community of 68lbs of garbage!!!

Huge thank you to everyone who brought in donations! We were able to donate sleeping bags, blankets, and tents to the Turkish Consulate for earthquake relief! All coats and clothes were donated to The Night Ministry and Share Our Space organizations in Chicago that assist individuals experiencing homelessness or poverty. Thank you for helping us make a difference!

Thanks to our community here at FIC, we were able to donate 2 FULL BOXES to Toys for Tots! We're ecstatic to make a positive impact in our community and spread joy this holiday season!! We couldn't have done it without the help of our TEAM! 💪

Our Business Process Management General Manager, Mir Hussain, guided the group through our Carol Stream Plant showing them some of the auto parts we manufacture and the different career paths you could follow here at FIC America Corp. (Engineering, Logistics, Accounting, HR, IT, Technical Trades (Welding/Stamping), and the students had in-depth Q&A session with our Plant Manager Neil Mehra! We're excited to show the next generation all the possibilities of a career in manufacturing!

In keeping with our commitment to creating a brighter future and changing the climate, we took to our local highway once again. This time around we managed to remove 13 bags worth of garbage and debris! We paid extra special attention to an area in our parking lot riddled with cigarette butts, which can be harmful to wildlife especially once they get into the waterways.

We believe teamwork makes the dream work and what better way to fortify our bonds then to engage in a little friendly competition?! Six teams competed and only one came out on top! We also held a Fun-Run for those who did not want to compete, and had a dance party during the competition. All in all, we had a beautiful morning sharing breakfast and laughs with our team!

A clean environment is a healthy environment. In addition to making environmentally conscious products, we volunteer our time to properly disposing of waste in our community. Pictured below is our effort to protect our environment and local wildlife.
